We are a French bakery and cafe offering French pastries and breads, baked in small batches throughout each day. We aim to offer the highest quality baked goods and delicious eats, using local and organic ingredients whenever possible. (We have bees on the roof that supply us with ultra local honey!!!)

L'IMPRIMERIE: PRINT SHOP

Our store had been a print shop for more than half a century before again becoming a bakery. Watch our video of the old print press we saved, it was still working when we unplugged it last fall! What do you think? Should we plug it back in and print our menus ourselves? It's a shame this awesome old technology doesn't do croissants!

Happy Bastille day!

We call it "le 14 juillet" and celebrate the day in 1789 when the (almost totally empty) Bastille (a fortress prison used to jail mostly opponents to the King) was stormed part of the French revolution.

During the day

It's almost the weekend, it's almost crisp out and it's almost Bastille day.

It won't take much to pretend you are in Paris enjoying a crrroissssant at la terrasse d'un café on le chemin du travail.

I’m so glad I did. These are straight up some of the best chocolate croissants I’ve ever had in my life. The outer layer is perfectly cooked and crisp, the inside is fluffy and flaky, but also soft and buttery, and the chocolate is just the right amount of bitter. They also sell a pear-chocolate croissant and I am not joking when I say that it is one of the most wonderful things I’ve ever eaten. The pear flavor is subtle but perfectly complements an already delicious pastry."
